These accessories are for the clubgoing douchebags of yesteryear. But for the Miami bros of the future, the next big thing in club fashion is here. And it'll literally get you lit.

Feast your eyes on Laser Lapel, an LED accessory for your suit jacket that adds backlighting to your lapels. Founder Luke J. Flint hopes it'll take the Miami club scene by storm.

The product is simple: A string of LED lights that attaches to the underside of your suit jacket lapel. But its effect is more complex, transforming the wearer into a neon-hued beacon of bro-ness. It's basically the menswear version of an Ocean Drive hotel sign. It costs $20, shipping and handling included. It has an all-caps, vowel-free hashtag: #LZRLPL. And it's the only way to ensure that you're the fanciest guy at Ultra this year.

Naturally, a product like this deserves representation in Miami. Flint, a commercial real estate broker living in Louisville, Ky. (and the guy posing in the white seersucker suit in Laser Lapel's promotional materials), says that eventually Laser Lapel will open offices in Miami.

"With all the lights, culture, and booming club scene, [Miami] is the best place for the product," he tells New Times via phone.

The product certainly seems to trade on Miami stereotypes of luxury cars and sexy women, especially in the promotional video above. But when asked about the seemingly random shots of cars and skylines, Flint laughs.


"You're not the first person to say that. Someone asked me if I was selling cars," he admits. "I was hoping to drive home the fact that everything cool has LED lighting -- even the brand new Mercedes. The whole emblem lights up with backlighting.... I was trying to drive [home the point] that cars and buildings, everything cool now has LED lighting."

Tradition never dies, even more, it revives over time. The best example is the Romanian folk costume, called "ie", which began to be worn with pride by famous supermodels from Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier or Galliano. Kate Moss, Heidi Klum and Taylor Swift are just a few of the international stars who stepped on the catwalk wearing the clothes inspired by Romanian traditions. It is certain! In the past, girls sewed their "ie" every winter, which they wore on Easter Day, considered the most important holiday of the year. This piece of clothing was sewn in secret, so that no one can copy the pattern. Making the "ie" could take even three weeks. Every part of the "ie", from the fabric itself to the intricate embroideries on the chest and sleeves, is entirely hand-made, and the design has not changed for hundreds of years.

The Romanian traditional design has become very popular in international fashion due to its originality. So, many designers have understood what treasures lie in the dowry chests in Romania. The famous singer Adele, was dressed by fashion designer Tom Ford with a stylized "ie", inspired by a specific pattern in the South of Romania. The paradox is that only after the great fashion designers have reinvented the Romanian costume, the idea became popular again in Romania. The popular clothing propulsioned quickly and turned into a business that now brings a good profit. Both Romanian women and those from abroad, prefered to revive the popular clothing. The price of a Romanian blouse starts at 250 and can reach 2500 euros. Behind the creations are endless hours of work and extremely fine material, always made manually. Regardless of the influences that they use in reinventing the traditional Romanian clothing, designers have a common idea: the folk patterns should not be forgotten and the best way to revive the tradition it's to merge it with the contemporary art. From police escorts to joining Instagram: Matthew C Martino US visit

   When AllStar Matthew C Martino we never thought it would be such an action packed visit and he sure has some more tricks left up his sleeve. The 21year film producer/author is currently in the US on a 17day visit and so far he has visited Orlando, Las Vegas, New York and as of this morning he is back in Florida for work where he is scheduled to visit Tampa, Miami and Orlando.

What we know so far is Martino landed in Orlando on the 22^nd of July and was told by border authorities he won’t be able to fly (Whattttt ?!) Yes our reaction as well, they can’t tell Mr Lets Fly he can’t fly. The 21year is apparently being sanctioned for his controversy filled pilot history.

Martino then headed to Las Vegas where he attended a high society wedding of one of his old high school friends, he spoke out about his flying ban during an interview on radio in Vegas.

Moving on from that Martino headed to New York on business where he joined picture sharing site Instagram. A move which reportedly his management aren’t too happy about. Martino stayed at hotspot Gansevoort Park hotel and staff there where pleased even tweeting the young bachelor who reportedly stayed alone with just a minder who had a separate room.

Now here is where it gets juicy, Martino reportedly got a police escort. A leaked video shows the 21year old boasting about the police presence around him, No report or comment has come from Martino or his rep yet about this. You can watch the video here - https://vid.me/oR1

Martino now back in Florida is expected to discuss films, flying and a future in the US. He is due at Orlando airport on Tuesday morning (29^th July) after which he will even jump on set while in Miami and do some light production duties.
